The comparison between both Ferrari drivers after the Grand Prix could not have been more intense.
Charles Leclerc stood on the podium for a winner for another time per week, soaking up the adoration of thousands of tifosi observing the first Ferrari triumph in Italy since 2010.

Hamilton said something similar. Problem is, now there is not a great deal of evidence to indicate they’re correct.
It may not have come at a worse time for Vettel. As Leclerc has arrived on this year, debate about the consequences for Vettel has lasted.
Monza was the seventh race at a row where Leclerc had Vettel that is out-qualified. There were extenuating conditions that time – Vettel didn’t possess a slipstream on his very first lap to qualifying prevented him doing another, and the farcical finish – however, there is a clear pattern emerging.

Max Verstappen pulled a similar move at the first chicane on Bottas and has been extended a penalty. However, Leclerc got off using a black warning flag – the equivalent of a card in soccer.
Leclerc secured up at the chicane and clattered across the location that was run-off. Again, Hamilton got a run and now Leclerc defended through the flat-out Curva Grande, moving late to obstruct Hamilton into the Ferrari’s lefthanded.
“There’s some hazardous driving happening,” Hamilton said above the radio. The stewards did not.
Leclerc admitted he was hard, but stated:”I just tried to be at the limit of what’s okay.
“I understood he was on the rightside. He braked since he did not wish to try around the outside. I thought I had left a car’s diameter ”
His strategy was advised by the simple fact that Verstappen got away with barging him broad when he handed on the Ferrari over the lap in Austria for success.
“Since Austria it’s clear we can go a bit further from how we can defend and overtaking in the bitterness,” Leclerc said. “Austria assisted me change that approach. It was thanks to this I was able to triumph. It was very on the limit but I am delighted to race like this.”
Hamilton sounded convinced.
“It was fascinating,” Hamilton said. “I learnt a lot about his character now for a driver as you do when you are rushing with various drivers and I’ll know better for next time.
“There were a few surprises – that the ones that you saw. But it is just all understanding for your future.
“We have just constantly asked for consistency. A rule was and todayn’t abided it and they used different consequences for this rule. I don’t really know why that’s the circumstance. It’s motor racing and also I guess that the stewards awakened on the side of their mattress.
“If Verstappen ought to have got that last calendar year, then the identical rule must apply.”
The relationship between Leclerc and Hamilton was warm and respectful, and the older person said there wasn’t any reason for this to change.
